I am a homeschooler. Some people think I am funny. We'll see about that.
For one English assignment I had to answer this question:
“How important is a title in influencing you to consider reading a book? Explain your answer”
I find it to be quite important because if your gonna spend $12 on a book from Kmart it better be worth $12. However, if you were to go to Vinnies and find that they sell old books at 5 for $2 that would mean 30 books for $12 instead of $12 for 1 Kmart book. If you were able to get 30 books for the price of 1 I doubt actually looking at the title really matters. However, once you get home and realise you have no idea what you bought because you were just throwing Random books In your bag while your mother tells you that’s enough but you have to round out the 16 books you’ve randomly thrown in your bag to twenty books while calculating where you’ll get $400 to pay for 1000 St Vinnies books to complete your library which you don’t even have a bookshelf for yet because your mother hasn’t taken you to the tip shop yet then yes, I suppose the title matters because it’s good to want to actually read the books you’ve bought.
Well, there you have it! Hope you at least had a chuckle, or maybe just a smile.
